Reasons why it's good to live in NZ

We have been in NZ 6 months now and I started writing a (yet another?) grumbly piece about the downsides of life in the land of the long white cloud, but then I realised that it might give the impression of my life as a misery. My life is absolutely not a misery. But life in NZ has some significant downsides - moreso especially for some people. Aside from the domestic violence, child abuse, lack of education, bad driving, crap internet ... I thought I'd rather not go into a list - it's just depressing. If I could choose, I think I'd still rather live somewhere else.
But there are some upsides. It's better to focus on the upsides.
So I'd like your thoughts ... give me 5 reasons why you think it's good to live in NZ. I'd start things rolling, but I'm struggling with it today.
